Wow, how this year has flown by!  I hope December is a better month than November.  We have all been sick here with the cold, flu and whatever else is going  around!  Went to the Women Of  Faith conference and had a wonderful time.  Had a good time with the ladies from Lifepoint too!!

Today is Rich's 50th Birthday.  I 've been giving him a hard time all day, putting stuff all over the house reminding him how old he is!  I have to remember I''m right behind him in age! You know what they say about paybacks!

Till next time.....

One of the things I want to do in 2006 is keep up with my blogging!!  I also want to journal more and read more books!  I seem to buy more books that I can read.  Just a passion of mine.  Guess it could be worse.

Christmas is almost here and I'm not near done shopping.  Wish we could some how get back to the true meaning of Christmas.  The birth of Christ!!

Anyone else journal?  Any tips on how to stay consistant?

Today was a sad day for me as I thought about my brother Kevin and how young he was and how much pain he was in from his illness.  He died seven years ago at the age of 38 from colon cancer.  We didn't live close, I lived in Kansas City and he lived in Dallas.  I went to see him soon before he died and still have that vivid picture of him in my mind.  So thin and in so much pain.  I really miss him and think about him daily.  I know he's in Heaven with Jesus and that's a great feeling.  I often ask God to send an angel to give Kevin a big hug from me.  Does anyone think that's possible?  I heard Paul Meir on the radio one day talking about his fathers death and that he would ask God to send an angel to give his father a hug.  I thought that was so comforting.  God is so good!!

Today was a great day.  Spent most of the day with my buddy Ryan (one of my sons). Had to take him to the hand doctor then we went to the mall.  The only problem was that he wouldn't let me look at the girlie stuff!!  Why is it that when guys go shopping they go for just what they need and nothing else??  Where's the fun in that?  Of course we had to have lunch,   That was fun.      Then we went to the music store for about an hour or so.  I actually dropped Ryan off then I went next door to the library.  Came home with a bag of books!  Just can't help myself!!
 Oh well, till next time...

Church was so awesome today!! Pastor Steve is just great and I learn so much from him. The worship music was so inspiring.  Today all the kids are home and we really enjoy everyone being together. This afternoon we'll watch the Kansas City Chiefs football game.  Hope they do better than last week!
